The process Church Outlet uses to refinish or refurbish your existing pews is thorough, with tremendous attention to detail, yet we take great pride in ensuring that your pews are handled with the utmost care.

First, we completely strip the pew's existing finish, using a "VAT" containment wash off system that does not require the furniture to be dipped. The solution we use is a water-soluble, environmentally friendly chemical, which is pumped over the furniture and then gently scrubbed the way you would wash a car. The solution dissolves the pew's top coat, allowing the original beauty of the wood to be exposed without being damaged.

Next, the pew is sanded, re-stained, and top coated with a high quality precatalyzed lacquer. Finally, we offer the option of upholstering the seat and back using high density foam core and commercial grade fabric, if desired.
