A Church Outlet History Lesson
In 1977 Leroy Vernon started L. Vernon & Co, Inc. with the desire to help furnish churches with quality products at reasonable prices. Through the years Leroy worked hard to establish personal relationships with his customers and manufacturers by providing the products his customers needed at prices that were affordable.
In 1998 Leroy’s son, Rick, entered the business with the desire to continue what his father had started. After a couple of years, Rick determined that it was necessary to change the name of the business to emphasize its lines of church products to the current and future customers. At this time, the name “Church Outlet, Inc.” took the place of L. Vernon & Co., Inc. Even though the name has changed the commitment to quality products, reasonable prices, and personal relationships with customers has not.
Church Outlet, Inc. is now one of the leading suppliers of church products in America and continues to grow due to its commitment to its customers, knowledge of church furnishings and its efforts to maintain an affordable pricing structure.
